Imagine paying someone thousands of dollars to take photos of your once-in-a-lifetime event, and they lose them or their card becomes corrupt. What would you do? I am not trying to tell you this to scare you by any means. I just want you to be aware of the dangers and the reality of what can happen. This is, in my opinion, the most crucial question you should ask your photographer. How do they protect your photos? I shoot with dual cards that way I have two cards in case one becomes corrupt. I back up to four different places to ensure I have the photos accessible in case anything goes wrong. Lastly, I shoot with two cameras, god forbid something happens to one of them I have a backup that I can rely on.
