From their emotional first look in downtown Salt Lake City to a sunset garden ceremony and one INSANE party at Sleepy Ridge, every part of this day was intentionally crafted and effortlessly stunning. This was the kind of wedding that feels expensive, but still has that warmth and playfulness that makes everyone feel like they’re part of something special.

First Look at the Thomas Monson Center

We kicked off the day in the heart of downtown Salt Lake at the Thomas Monson Center, where Hyrum & Emma shared their first look, and let me tell you, it was a moment! Hyrum was already visibly nervous as we got him into place, fidgeting with his hands, pacing just slightly, totally in his feels waiting to see his bride. And when he finally turned around? Instantly emotional. He told Emma she looked like a princess, and honestly, he wasn’t wrong! The building’s architecture gave us the perfect clean, romantic backdrop. We explored the grounds until the light started to fade, grabbing golden hour portraits that were so dreamy and intimate.

Sunset City Bridals

Their bridal portraits in the city were soft and cinematic, classic columns, wide sidewalks, a little breeze in the air. We kept things playful and natural, leaning into the connection between them. Every time Emma looked at Hyrum, she lit up. The energy was sweet and slow and full of those quiet in-between moments that make bridal photos feel real, not staged. The contrast between Salt Lake’s historic downtown and the lush gardens of Sleepy Ridge made for such a beautiful balance in their gallery!

Then we headed over to Sleepy Ridge Golf Course, and holy wow — this venue is giving all the romantic garden estate energy. The views were wide open, the light was golden, and there was a peacefulness to the space that felt like a deep exhale. Hyrum & Emma’s ceremony was classic, timeless, and deeply emotional. Family and friends gathered under soft skies while the couple exchanged vows with tears in their eyes and the biggest smiles on their faces. Every detail was intentional, from the floral accents to the gentle breeze that felt like it was perfectly timed. It was the kind of ceremony that didn’t need any extras,  just love, light, and the people who matter most!

Beautiful Reception at Sleepy Ridge

Okay so listen… this wasn’t just a reception, this was a PARTY. Emma and her bridesmaids surprised Hyrum with a choreographed dance to an ABBA song (yes, seriously), and the second it started, the whole room exploded. The vibe was unhinged in the best way. Everyone was on their feet, screaming, dancing and jumping. It was electric. The energy never let up for the rest of the night, just pure joy, people who love each other, and a couple who knew how to throw a celebration that felt like them. And then, to close it out? They had a private last dance in front of glowing sparklers. Just the two of them, swaying and soaking in every second of it all!
