This Boho elopement in the Colorado Paint mines was by far one of my favorite shoots this year. The unrealistic pink and orange rocks are so out of this world that I felt like I had stepped onto another planet once we were in the formations. Not only was this location perfect, but so was this couple-like come-on, can you get any hotter than these two? kinseylynnphoto and I planned a retreat in Colorado back in October. The whole retreat was planned around this location, and it did not disappoint. Andrew and Chelsea were nothing but stunning and they completely brought our vision to life. The faint blue of the Rue De Seine dress against the rocks was the perfect compliment, and Andrew came looking like he had stepped straight out of an episode of Yellowstone.
If you are looking to have a boho elopement near Colorado Springs be sure to check out the famous Paint Mines, and don’t forget to book me to capture all your adventures! You can also learn more about how to book your elopement at the paint mines here. You will need a permit, and have to agree to a few rules the park has set in place such as not climbing on any of the rocks or formations. It is also important to note that when you first arrive you might think you are in the wrong place, but I promise you are not. These formations while they look ginormous in photos are actually smaller then they look and are almost under ground. Just be prepared for your mind to be blown at how such occurrences like this come about.
