Connor and Emma’s Wadley Farms wedding was one of those days that felt completely different from the traditional wedding timeline in the best way. They created this really intentional mix of an intimate, black-tie celebration with their closest people and a bigger party later on, all without losing that elevated feel. Between the gorgeous grounds at Wadley Farms, the long outdoor dinner table, the mountain views, and all the little details they brought into the day, it honestly had the feeling of a destination wedding without ever leaving Utah!

An Intimate Start to Their Wadley Farms Wedding
One of my favorite things about Connor and Emma’s wedding was the way they structured the day. Instead of inviting everyone to every part, they kept the ceremony and dinner really intimate with just their family and wedding party. Everyone dressed in black-tie attire, and it immediately gave this part of the day a more elevated, intentional feel.
Their ceremony took place outside surrounded by greenery and these beautiful white florals, and afterward everyone gathered around one long table for dinner. I loved how simple the setup was because it let the setting do so much of the work. With the mountains in the distance, the trees surrounding everyone, and that late afternoon Utah light coming through, it genuinely felt like everyone had been transported somewhere else for the evening.

Creating a Luxury Experience That Still Feels Personal
I think sometimes when people hear “luxury wedding,” they immediately picture a day that is formal from beginning to end. But what I loved about Connor and Emma’s wedding was that the experience felt elevated without becoming overly structured or disconnected from who they are.
There were beautiful details everywhere, the black and white stationery, the lace veil, the florals, the formal attire, but there was also so much personality. Connor laughing with his friends before the ceremony, the two of them completely cracking up during portraits, and even sneaking away together to grab food made the day feel like theirs. Those are always the moments I love photographing most because they balance out the editorial images with everything that was actually happening.

A Wadley Farms Wedding That Turned Into a Bigger Celebration
Then came the part I thought was so cool. After having that smaller ceremony and dinner, Connor and Emma invited more of their people to join them for the celebration afterward. There were snacks and desserts, everyone could hang out together, and suddenly this intimate black-tie dinner turned into a much bigger party.
It’s such a good reminder that your guest list doesn’t necessarily have to look the same for every part of your wedding. If you love the idea of having a really intentional ceremony and dinner with your closest people but still want to celebrate with a larger group, you can absolutely do both. Connor and Emma basically created two different experiences in one day, and somehow they flowed together perfectly.

Kailah Page | Utah & Destination Wedding Photographer
What I loved most about this Wadley Farms wedding was that it felt elevated without sacrificing the actual experience. Connor and Emma weren’t trying to follow a wedding-day formula, they figured out what parts they wanted to keep intimate, where they wanted to bring everyone together, and built the celebration around that. If you’re dreaming about a wedding that has that destination feel while staying right here in Utah, Wadley Farms gives you so much to work with. And if you want your photos to document both the beautiful, editorial side of the day and all the laughing, eating, celebrating, and slightly chaotic moments in between, I would absolutely love to photograph it.
